Find out how PowerQuote can improve your office's bottom line by improving your productivity and workflows.
Finally an easy to use evaluation product that evaluates residential homes, log homes and seasonal dwellings. Welcome to the web-based evaluation service that functions just like a standard desktop solution. Utilize PowerHouse Web anywhere and anytime - at the office, on the road or at home. PowerHouse Web utilizes PowerSofts EvalWorks evaluation engine and is accepted by 100% of all Canadian Insurers.
Using the latest in computer technology, PowerSoft has designed a personal lines insurance rating service with the insurance broker in mind. Designed by insurance brokers, PowerSoft is the solution to all of your quoting and prospecting needs. When coming up with design ideas, the highest priority was given to functionality and ease of use for the broker.
Benefits for your Office
The other main priority we had in mind when developing PowerQuote, was to make sure that we could offer an accurate rating service, at an affordable price, without limiting availability to the smaller, or larger brokerages. That is why we decided to charge our customers based solely on the number of workstations that are used for personal lines quoting in the office. No longer do you have to pay for the number of companies you write business for. PowerQuote allows you to quote ALL of your markets for the same low price, therefore allowing you to abandon those time consuming manuals, so you can now spend that time on more important things. With no upfront, hidden or additional fees, you can see that we do not discriminate our pricing due to the size of a particular brokerage. And with no fees for additional services, like adding or removing markets, or having insurance applications available in PowerQuote, there is no good reason to put off purchasing your own copy of PowerQuote.
On Time Rates
Here at PowerSoft, we realize that prompt delivery of rate revisions and underwriting changes is integral to the operation of your brokerage. That is why we offer a quick and easy one stop solution for keeping your software up to date. Within a week of receiving the rate update from the insurance company, the updated rate engine is posted on our Support Service Portal. As a client, you are "Alerted" via email using our Support Services Portal's "Alert Notification System". To accommodate the internet deprived, we do offer a more tardy CDrom update method, sent once a month.
Exclusive Features
One of the most outstanding features in PowerQuote is the on screen insurance company Underwriting Manual. No longer will you need to refer to your paper manual to discover why a particular market classifies an area or a risk in a unique manner. Instead, you can simply view the underwriting rules on screen at any time during a quote. Your insurers' billing plans and payment schedules are also built into the software, allowing you to present payment options, close the sale, and print the CSIO application immediately.
"What If" scenarios are a part of every insurance quote, and can be handled easily as users quickly change the particulars of a risk, ( liability limit, deductible, model, etc) and immediately compare the difference on screen, or in a printed report or summary. These 'multiple quote sets' or 'requotes' are stored as you work through the quote, for comparison as needed. Of course all quotes can be stored for future reference by any user on the system, and prospecting for new business from previously quoted risks is as simple as running a report.
Don't wait any longer to experience the PowerQuote advantage in your office.

In your business, does your job end when you give the customer the price? No it doesn't. So why should your quoting software? PowerQuote includes all the necessary tools to help your office succeed in selling. PowerQuote offers billing plan information, over 100 different reports (including rate comparison, with discounts and signature lines), and What If? Re-quoting options - just to name a few of the many quoting and prospecting tools that are available at the click of a mouse.
PowerQuote HomePage
The PowerQuote home page is more than just a menu, it offers additional features like a Shortcut bar and Folder List to allow quick creation of quotes and evaluations, and views of abeyance items, quotes and evaluations based on each User ID to allow quick retrieval and editing.

Automobile Quoting
The new Automobile Rate Check section allows users a simple and quick method of quoting, without any underwriting fields. The user provides the underwriting information, like driving class, driving record, territory and market and an accurate quote is seconds away.

Habitational Quoting
The Habitational section allows for a simple quick method of quoting by either completing the homeowners FullQuote section or simply filling out the quick quote which requires no evaluation. QuickQuote also has a special feature which allows quotes started in QuickQuote to be moved into a Homeowers FullQuote.

Advanced Features
PowerQuote also offers many advanced features not found in other quoting software, including - User and Group Based Security options which controls the addition, changing, deletion and printing of quotes, prospects and evaluations, and the Event Viewer which tracks system errors, deletion of quotes, prospects and evaluations, and when system utilities have been performed.

No Upfront Fees
Purchasing PowerSoft is as hassle free as possible. There are no upfront installation fees, no upfront licensing fees, there are no upfront fees of any kind. Just choose between monthly payment or an annual payment. That's it.
Simple Pricing
It used to be that Rating Software was expensive. It used to be that brokers had to pay individually for their markets. It used to be that brokers weren't including high risk and substandard carriers in their rating systems and they'd use the manuals for those risks…What was the point of Rating Software if you couldn't write all of your business with it?
PowerSoft changed all that when it entered the market in 1999. All of your markets are included in PowerQuote's price. We license software strictly on workstation access; simply determine the number of computers requiring access in your office and that's how we determine licensing costs.
Easy Payments
We offer two method of payments - Annual and Monthly. If you choose to pay on a monthly basis, you have the choice of two different withdrawal dates, and there are no service charges
Multiple Offices? No Problem
Your license cost includes as many office locations as you need. PowerSoft pricing is based solely on the number of workstations requiring access. Add all of the workstations that require PowerQuote access from each office to determine your licensing requirements.
No Additional Fees
Don't expect to be paying for our exclusive features. PowerSoft license costs include unlimited, toll free access to our Support Service Department up to 60 hours per week. Costs include PowerQuote's exclusive features like the Underwriting Log, individual Company Billing Plans, free rate updates, a comprehensive reports section and more tools to help you prepare a quote and sell the policy. PowerQuote has NO Hidden Fees.

PowerSoft is pleased to announce the release of our 2004 version of PowerHouse. PowerHouse generates estimated reconstruction costs, based on PowerSoft's own EvalWorks technology, which utilizes component based cost data.
In 2003, PowerHouse became one of the officially accepted and approved replacement cost calculators in the Canadian Insurance Industry, being used in over 1500 brokerage, credit union and insurance company offices across Canada. We are pleased to offer three different software versions of our EvalWorks technology, each designed to cater to the unique needs of different users. Our basic replacement cost calculator, PowerHouse, is designed for insurance brokers looking for an accurate evaluator that is easy to use. It includes all the standard evaluation tools, and it quickly and accurately generates estimated replacement costs of residential dwellings. Our deluxe broker edition, PowerHouse Enterprise, has the same appearance and functionality as PowerHouse, but has a few added features to improve multi branch functionality, like branch codes, and the ability to attach scanned or digital Photos to your evaluations. PowerWorks is our Company Edition of the EvalWorks technology, and it is the only evaluator in Canada that is designed specifically to meet the needs of Insurance Companies.
PowerWorks incorporates the features of PowerHouse Enterprise, with added Company specific features, like the ability to assign broker and policy numbers to evaluations. PowerWorks also has a customizable Today Page, user based options such as Renewing Evaluation, Recent Evaluations and PowerSoft SupportServices News. Depending on demand, PowerWorks could also offer commercial and agricultural evaluations in the future.
