1998

- August 28

PowerSoft Development Corp. is formed. The development team starts work on numerous software projects including PowerQuote and PowerHouse.

- October 5

Stuart McKay joins the PowerSoft team. Stuart's main objective as Development manager is the design and development of software products and solutions.


1999

- January 4

Brenda Rudd joins the PowerSoft team. Brenda's initial duty is as Rate Coordinator - PowerSoft's liaison with the insurance industry.

- July 1

Brenda Rudd, heads up PowerSoft's newly formed Quality Assurance Department.

- November 23

With much anticipation, PowerSoft's first product launch - the initial release of PowerQuote v1.0 Rate Comparison software.


2000

- February 11

PowerSoft release PowerHouse v1.0 Property Evaluation Software, utilizing Marshall & Swift's cost data. This is the industry's first alternative in property evaluation software.

- December 1

PowerSoft acquires Power-Re Software Inc. and the Power-RE Policy and Claims Management Software product.


2001

- April 30

PowerQuote v2.0 (code name Barracuda) is released. This upgrades includes many new features and enhancements.


2002

- January 18

PowerQuote v3.0 (code name Swordfish) is released. This upgrades the industry's first motorcycle rating module.

- April 12

PowerSoft releases PowerLinq v1.0 (code name Steelhead) Point-of-sale Rating Software.

- July 22

PowerQuote v3.5 (code name Stingray) is released. This upgrades includes the new EvalWorks Evaluation technology.

- September 27

PowerHouse v2.0 (code name Manta Ray) Property Evaluation Software, utilizing PowerSoft's new EvalWorks Evaluation technology is released.

PowerSoft releases PowerWorks v1.0 (code name Devil Ray) Property Evaluation Software. This new software produce is specifically designed for insurance companies.
