Who We Are >>

PowerSoft was founded in 1998, with the main goal focusing on design and development of effective software solutions for Insurance Brokers in the Canadian Market. These software tools are designed to improve efficiency and streamline operations, simplifying and speeding up the day to day duties of Canadian Insurance Brokers.

We are located on Vancouver Island, just 18 kms from Victoria in scenic Sooke with beautiful views of the Juan De Fuca straight and the snow capped Olympic Mountains. We have built a dedicated team of professionals, many whom have past experience in the insurance industry, committed to develop and deliver industry solutions. Using our experience in various areas of the insurance and financial services industries, we have reviewed and listened to what our clients require in software and built from the ground up solutions for quoting, policy point-of-sale and issuance, and property evaluation. We continue to develop new solutions for our clients in the insurance and financial services industry.

  • Victoria's Inner Harbour
  • Victoria is situated on the southern tip of Vancouver Island and sparkles in one of Canada's mildest climates. This area is the sunniest spot in the province and the gentlest in the country in terms of climate, environment, and lifestyle. Victoria's unique character is deeply rooted in its 150-year history -- a history full of colourful people and fascinating tales. The city's British colonial heritage is still very much in evidence, but contemporary Victoria has a distinctly Pacific northwest flavour. For more information www.city.victoria.bc.ca

  • View from Esquimalt
  • Esquimalt is the home of Canada’s naval presence on the West Coast. The natural harbour was first used by ships of the Royal Navy as early as 1837. The Naval Base was formally authorized on June 29, 1865 and was transferred to the Royal Canadian Navy in 1910. For more information visit www.esquimalt.ca

  • Fisgard Lighthouse
  • The first lighthouse on Canada's west coast is still in operation! There hasn't been a keeper here since the light was automated in 1929. Built by the British in 1860, when Vancouver Island was not yet part of Canada, Fisgard's red brick house and white tower has stood faithfully at the entrance to Esquimalt harbour. • Butchart Gardens
  • In 1904, Jenny Butchart began to beautify a worked-out quarry site left behind from her husband's pioneering efforts in the manufacture of portland cement at Tod Inlet, Vancouver Island, Canada. Her venture has become a family commitment to horticulture and hospitality spanning almost 100 years. For more information visit www.butchartgardens.com

  • Victoria's Inner Harbour
  • Another view of Victoria's Inner Harbour, this time looking at the Fairmount Empress Hotel. This 460-room hotel was built in the Edwardian style and recently restored to its original grandeur, with antique furniture and luxurious décor. For more information visit www.britishcolumbia.com
